Sydney Cockerell’s diary, 2 May 1895: “W.M. went up to Quaritch’s with Mr Ellis, to buy the Huntingfield Psalter.” It was exhibited at the Society of Antiquaries in June 1896. Cockerell’s annotation in Morgan Catalogue: “The verse-initials of this book are identical in style with some of those in the New College Oxford Psalter partly illuminated by W. de Brail[e]s.”
